LGT Construction

Our story

LGT Construction is a family owned company that was founded 20 years ago by Jerry Trujillo when he started a trucking company in Eastern New Mexico. In 2010, son Michael and wife Roberta Trujillo joined the family business to form LGT Construction. Today LGT Construction specializes in demolition, excavation, earthwork, temporary fencing, erosion control, trucking and landscaping services. We also crush concrete and asphalt.

Proud to be green

We are a green thumb contracting company that will recycle up to 90% of demolition projects, which will make us your one call contractor. A few products we can recycle and reuse from these demolition projects are asphalt, brick, cinder block and concrete, which we crushed at our pit located 4 miles south of the Portales entrance at CAFB. These materials crush down to make great driveways and parking lots. 

Our Dedicated Team

  • JERRY M. TRUJILLO - Co-owner and CEO  
    • Jerry has 40+ years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked in all areas of construction from dirt work, trucking, demolition, roads, crushing, excavating, surveying and management. (GS-08)
  • MICHAEL TRUJILLO – Co-Owner and President
    • Michael has 10+ years of experience in the construction industry. He is fully licensed in the State of New Mexico. Those licenses include: demolition, excavation/utilities and earth moving. (GB-98,GF-05, GS-08, GF-09)
  • ROBERTA TRUJILLO- CFO
    • Roberta has 35+ years of experience in financial management and bookkeeping. She has prepared and maintained budgets of over 20 million; handles all payroll and office management. Roberta always works well with state, local and federal agencies to ensure true and accurate company license, permits, and finances.
